Is this thing on? Tap, tap, tap…oh hello there. Welcome back to Yawk Talk aka my avenue to share some thoughts on the sports world at-large, typically focused on BYU.
August is here, meaning training (fall) camps are set to begin this coming week for college football programs around the country. BYU has a number of questions entering 2021, but none bigger than justifying their 2020 breakout campaign. Fair or not, this fall will bolster opinions of the Cougars positively or negatively.
Those who thought 2020 was a payoff year for Kalani Sitake and co. will be happy to crow that 2020 was not simply a blip on the radar or flash in the pan. Conversely, should BYU falter, those who thought the Cougars were frauds will be justified.
What are your thoughts? Do you think people will be able to separate 2020 from 2021 for the Cougars?
Regardless, training camp holds a number of intriguing questions and storylines to track. I will be endeavoring to explore them both in this space and also on the Locked On Cougars podcast. Thanks for reading and we will reconvene soon.
